LWA provides practical and emotional support to anyone experiencing domestic abuse, including men, women, children and young people. The services include support through the civil and criminal law system, including child contact issues; with housing, including accessing refuge; with safety planning and security measures; emotional support and counselling; photographing injuries for court; making reports to the police; support with health issues, including drug and alcohol problems; and with financial issues. We also provide group support programmes including the Freedom Programme and Recovery Toolkit.
