The Cooke E-Learning Foundation is a charity based in Beaumont Leys, Leicester that has been helping people to bridge the digital divide for over ten years. We are primarily focused on the educational services we offer such as digital skills training sessions for adults, vocational education for school-aged learners, and our bespoke training sessions. We have a successful track record in managing and meeting the needs of our users and volunteers who in turn help us to us to achieve our charitable objectives. In addition to educational services, we offer we also deliver general community development, youth projects, and engagement activities, a computer repair and recycling service as well as a community cafe. We are a progressive organisation that aims to empower the communities we serve with education, IT related services and projects that meet the needs of our beneficiaries and the local community. This is in addition to our provision of volunteering placements and work experience opportunities. We work very closely with De Montfort University have a number of community development focused projects that we are currently working in partnership on. The expertise of the Cooke E-Learning Foundation has been called upon to help develop and deliver a county-wide digital delivery model and are the Digital Lead for the Moneywise Plus project - An EU/Big Lottery funded BBO project that continues until 2019.
