Directory Entry:

With nearly 90 years of history, we are one of the oldest and proudest clubs in South Leicestershire. Tucked away on the outskirts of the village of Countesthorpe, we have a hard working committee and a thriving junior section. Countesthorpe Cricket Club was founded in 1925 and has been playing cricket at Bassett Avenue, Countesthorpe for over fifty years. The Club has always managed to field a senior side but it was only in the Club's recent history that they have began to provide junior, ladies and disabled sections for the up and coming cricketing talent to blossom. We have a hardworking committee which consists of 15 people who strive to take the Club from strength to strength. A number of our committee members have been with the Club for years and have continued to be involved event after their playing careers came to an end. The Club has an open membership policy and are always happy for new people to get involved, whether that be as a playing member or not.
