The South Asian Stroke Prevention Project aims to set up an outreach, advocacy and support services in the East Midlands for people from the South Asian communities who have suffered from a Stroke or are at a high risk. The project is a partnership between the Confederation of Indian Organisations (UK) and the Big Lottery Fund. We offer home visits to stroke sufferers and provide them with financial, emotional, spiritual and social support. We also provide stroke support club every month. This service is provided both in city and county. We also provide Stroke prevention /awareness presentations to community groups.
