Advance began providing support services to people with mental health issues and learning disabilities in 1974. Now, more than thirty years later, we provide a flexible range of housing and personalised support options. We aim to provide the best housing, support and employment options available to people with learning disabilities or mental health problems in order to make their lives better. People are at the centre of our work, and we consider their needs from a holistic point of view; we aim to make sure they are involved in the way their services are run where they live, who they live with and who supports them. Three homes offering support to people with mental health problems, Payne Street, a project for 8 individuals from the Asian community with Mental health problems. 86 independent flats with support for people with Mental Health problems. 24 hour staffed team in Glengarry Court - a 24hr supported housing scheme and a Community Support scheme for people in their own homes.
